| We have continued to be loved, ever
since the days of NADAYA Mansuke, our creator. |
NADAMAN started its first page in history, as NADAYA
Mansuke, a Nagasaki local, opened his first exclusive restaurant
in Osaka in 1830. Since then, our superb dishes have been loved dearly
by leading Osaka merchants and politicians, including such zaibatsu
as the Sumitomo, Mitsui and Mitsubishi.
During the 20th century, we physically made a great shift by transferring
our exclusive restaurant from Imahashi, Osaka, to Tokyo. This was
in 1964 when the Tokyo Olympics was held. Since then, the full-fledged
taste of NADAMAN has come to win high acclaim of a greater echelon
of people, in addition to leading figures in the political and economic
arenas.
As we proceed further into the 21st century, we are renewing our
determination to respect the high-class and sincerity of our cooking
as the leading heir of proper Japanese cuisine, while rearranging
the style of our dishes to fulfill the taste demand of the times. |
